Ian, February 2020 (Mouse House)
What can you say? Heavenly! We stayed at Mouse House in February 2020, just after Storm Dennis, and not even the weather could dampen our spirits, such is this gem of a rural retreat in mid-Wales. Had the weather been better, we'd have no doubt set off on long walks in the beautiful countryside that surrounds Mouse House. But, the rain stopped play. Not that we'd complain. Mouse House is a delightful little place, with relaxing views of the ducks swimming across the pond/lake during the day, and a wonderfully warm log burner for cozy nights. We'd suggest packing a book or two, switching off all links to the outside world, and sitting back to let time pass. Although, if you do want to be connected, Mouse House has superfast broadband, Wi-Fi and Netflix on the huge smart TV. Seriously, we loved our stay and the little touches that Rachael and Mike added to make us welcome. I think it's fair to say we'll be back. Please keep that welcome in the hillsides!

Mike and Rachael's place is absolutely lovely and they are very kind and welcoming. The place is really stylish, clean and very cosy. We absolutely loved the use of space and the little touches like the record player, telescope, homemade Welsh cakes and farm eggs. Really does feel like you're on a private retreat. We also made friends with the lovely farm animals. Without doubt the best Airbnb stay we've had. We'll definitely go back

Absolutely beautiful setting and wonderfully styled making for a comfortable stay. The alpacas were such a pleasure and we got to feed them which was another beautiful touch. Rachel and Mike were very welcoming and helpful with directions to the alpaca cabana. Overall a fantastic place to stay and get a way to relax.

A beautiful place, nestled in the Welsh countryside, surrounded by nature and a couple of cheeky alpacas. The place was beautifully presented and tastefully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches.

Excellent greeting. Beautiful spot, accommodation was stylish clean well presented in a lovely secluded location. From the pictures the accommodation was bigger than we expected and exceeded our expectations. Some lovely personal touches - all excellent we will not hesitate to return as soon as we can!
